It was a pretty wonderful 4th weekend. We had friends in town from Florida who’s visit marked the rekindling a friendship that was obviously destined to be. They have a 5 month old baby girl who’s such a good baby. Baby Bear made me so proud with how sweet he was to her. He kept giving her toys to play with and whenever she was on the floor doing tummy time, he would crouch down to her level and put his head down to look her in the eyes. It was somewhat of a relief to know that one day, God willing, he is going to make an amazing big brother. Opposite nap schedules meant we spent a lot of time hanging around the house, which was fine by all of us. We did make it out for a couple brunches, because let’s face it, that’s what you do for fun when you’re 30 (or almost) with kids.
